A coach some time ago said. "opinions are like assholes everyone has them and they all stink."
I have to agree with him after skimming you blog.
Do you own a restaurant? Have you owned a restaurant?
What food have you made outside your home where people have walked up to you and said, " I love your food."
I think you are a lame outsider that doesn't get LA let alone LA's food history and its food, let alone the stuff that make these burgers great.
Any restaurant you take out the ambience, and what are you left with?
But you take some of these burgers anywhere else and they stand alone.
I think you are a new vegan.
Or an a plain old everyday run of the mill asshole with too much time on their hands.

Excellent points! While her delivery was very good, the speech was nothing but cheap attacks. The truth about Ms. Palin will come out over the next few weeks and more and more people will realize what a pathetic ploy this was.

I've always liked John McCain (not enough to vote for him to be president) but his decision to put someone like Palin into one of the most important jobs in our country has caused me to lose all respect for him.

Well written, and fully organized argument against Palin. Her speech was nasty, sarcastic, and lacked substance. She used her time to cut others down, and no time lifting the nation up. Thank you for this blog.

Better insight still to Ledger's Joker can be found in Alan Moore's "The Killing Joke". The roots of Ledger's demented clowning are laid in Moore's one-shot, and quite a bit of The Dark Knight's underlying scheme - Joker's assertion that even the best men may be brought down by 'one bad day'. Reputedly it was the book Heath was given as guidance for the role.

If you have the opportunity, read Joke. All of the bits discussing what Gotham needs and who the real hero is start screaming.

Famously, The Killing Joke is the book that confined Barbara Gordon to a wheelchair, ending her reign as BatGirl.

Hi mate

Nice write-up. It appears we desire the same outcome:

http:\\liverpoolfansagainsthicks.wordpress.com

Hicks cares about money and money alone. It's both shocking and distressing that an individual like this was given the keys to this great institution.

I fear the path of mediocrity that awaits if he remains in control. So much so, that it makes me sick to my stomach.

No words can convey the hatred Liverpool fans feel towards this man.

Best wishes.

As a funny tack-on... Hillary is also getting blasted for her campaign's 'Wage Gap Calculator". Apparently, you can't select any ages younger than 25. It's nit-picky, but relevant considering the 18-24 age group is one with which she has very little resonance. The rationale behind the exclusion makes sense - most people in that age range aren't technically a part of the work force, so no real wage gap exists - but it's a bit of a goof calling it out like she had. Slate had a decent bit on it, but I can't find the specific link just now.

Do you know anything about the "Bitter" comment?
